Known as the 'Little Venice' of Greece, Aitoliko is an island town connected to the mainland by two stone bridges. It is situated in the middle of a stunning lagoon with a rich birdlife and a unique atmosphere.
The museum houses over 500 works, plates, and engravings by the multi-award-winning printmaker Vasso Katraki, who originated from Aitoliko. It was inaugurated in 2006 and is located on the southeast waterfront of the town.
Built on the ruins of an early Christian temple, this church holds great historical significance as two national assemblies of the representatives of Roumeli took place here. It houses an icon of the Virgin Mary and a gold-embroidered 15th-century epitaph.
